A country to protect,
A war to win,
A pride to keep,
Ocean of enemies to kill
The batch on their chest and the shine in their eye
Serving their duty
Losing their lives.
A life to live,
A dream to fulfill,
A home to be in,
Many promises to keep,
The pain in her eye and screams which went unheard,
Praying to be saved
She lost her life
A graduation certificate to frame,
A society to face,
Many job interviews to attend,
Finding new pubs every weekend,
The pressure in her mind and the silence between her smiles
Depressed to live
She ended her life.
One hugged death with pride!
One begged to lift alive,
One hoped it to better than life.
